We work directly with students, alumni, campus leaders, chapter advisors, and the broader university community to establish, maintain, and develop virtual communities and student organizations to promote campus engagement. We hope you will take the opportunity to connect with your peers and build a stronger sense of community, as we believe this is a vital piece of the student experience. Have ideas for university involvement? Tell us about them.

Our 1:1 mentoring program provides a space for students and alumni to connect and gain educational or professional insight.
Network with your peers.
AMU features a variety of interactive virtual communities which provide networking and engagement opportunities. Students can connect with others through the ecampus directory, peer mentoring, and many interest-based student organizations.
Be recognized for your achievements!
Each year, AMU recognizes the exceptional achievements of outstanding faculty, students, staff, and alumni through a variety of awards programs. Members of the university community are honored for their distinguished contributions to the betterment of the university and global community in several areas.
Participate in service events.
We orchestrate several opportunities to get involved throughout your community. We also invite our students to report volunteer service hours, so that we can make informed decisions on the types of events to support each year.
