This UX strategy course introduces concepts and strategies for creating a successful user experience strategy. It examines UX design principles and their connection to business strategy and business goals. Students will apply user research and analysis to address user needs and explore how a UX strategist can align solutions with business stakeholders and UX team members. Through team-based projects, students will learn how to define a UX vision, build a UX roadmap, and incorporate user feedback and user testing into the design process. Topics include the historical development of UX strategy, tenets of defining UX strategy, value propositions and value innovation, target users, and business model prototypes. By completing this course, students will strengthen UX management skills that prepare them to contribute to UX initiatives and collaborate with UX professionals. (Prerequisites: ENTD120 and WEBD122)
