The Saber and Scroll Historical Society promotes historical studies through the encouragement of academic research and the development of an online publication. The society also hopes to broaden the historical knowledge among its members.
Participation in enlightening and thought-provoking discussion that focuses on preserving our past, sharing our stories, and connecting students and alumni to history; and work to develop leadership skills in a supportive and professional network.

The Saber and Scroll Historical Society achieved PLATINUM standing, per the university's Chapter Standards program. Platinum standing demonstrates the highest level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.
Campus leadership opportunities are a great way to meet other students, alumni, and faculty at the university while also developing skills in the areas of:

The Office of Student and Alumni Affairs is always looking for people to get involved and be campus leaders, including chapter officers, who lead student organizations like this one. Membership is available year-round to students and alumni in good academic standing in all degree fields at the university. Membership will be actively sought during the months of May and December.
