The Society for Defense and Strategic Studies achieved PLATINUM standing per the university's Chapter Standards program. Platinum standing demonstrates the highest level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.

Membership is available year-round to students and alumni in good academic standing in all degree fields at the university. Membership will be actively sought during the months of March and September.
