This course examines specific topics in philosophy, such as ethics, neuroscience, social philosophy, and political philosophy, that are of central interest and interdisciplinary in nature. In this course, students will develop a deeper knowledge of notions of the self, love, the morality of charity, and philosophies that address war and terrorism. Students will also develop a better understanding of how neuroscience, biology, and experimental philosophy influence our understanding of human morality. (Prerequisite: PHIL101)
