This course is only open to students who are enrolled in the RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN). This course explores the role of healthcare technologies in the provision of safe and high quality, patient-centered nursing care. The use of informatics to improve the health of individuals and the delivery of healthcare services will also be examined with an emphasis on patient privacy and confidentiality in the digital age.
