From his childhood spent on military bases while his father flew for the Navy, to his own deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Chris Hassett understands dedication, commitment, and “the art of the possible.”

After serving our country, he found that he had a knack for IT and was recruited to ManTech®1. With their encouragement and the flexibility of AMU’s Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management program, Chris was able to be a student, an employee, and a parent. Now, as the first college graduate in his family, he can proudly hang his diploma beside his father’s Blue Angels uniform.

 

How He Did it 

Transfer Credits

Chris’s Army experience was applied towards his degree through the military transfer credit process.*

Flexibility

Taking classes online allowed Chris to maintain balance between school and life.

Affordability

As a veteran, Chris was able to apply his GI Bill®2 towards his education.

This is something that you can do—you can do as a full-time husband, you can do as a full-time father, as a full-time employee, and you can finish a degree while you’re doing all that.
