Women in STEM


wSTEM provides an open forum for students to promote the female presence in STEM fields. Specifically, wSTEM will provide networking opportunities and valuable professional information, resources, and support for women in STEM fields to develop and enhance their careers.

Membership & Fees

Benefits include: Empower women to further their careers in STEM by providing education, mentorship, and role models for students, alumni, faculty, and staff members. Promote awareness of gender issues and construct an environment for discussion and reform across the university and the STEM industry.

Membership fee: $0

Note: Membership is available to students and alumni in good academic standing.

Chapter Standing

Women in STEM has achieved SILVER standing, per the university's Chapter Standards program. Silver standing demonstrates a very high level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.
