Intercollegiate Studies Institute

 

The Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) is an organization based on reading and discussion, with free texts provided by the ISI national office. ISI fosters ideologically conservative and classically liberal intellect through mentoring, networking, exploring Great Books, and the interpretation of political events.

Membership & Fees

Benefits include: literature from ISI that fosters dialogue regarding the free market, the American founding, and western civilization. Students will have opportunities to attend seminars and conferences, apply for fellowships and have access to distinguished lecturers.

Membership fee: $10

Process: Visit the ISI website and join as a student. Choose ISI at APUS as the organization name and email the confirmation to studentlife@apus.edu

Chapter Standing

The Intercollegiate Studies Institute has achieved BRONZE standing, per the university's Chapter Standards program. Bronze standing demonstrates a notable level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.

If you are currently a member of ISI, your organization is active on The Quad. Join today!

To access The Quad, login to the ecampus. The Quad link is located on the lower right-hand side of the page, under the Student Services quick links. The ISI group page can be found under the Connect tab, in Professional Organizations.

Eligibility

If you are a student in good academic standing in any degree field at our university, you are eligible for membership.
