A single mom of three, Rebecca has faced several life setbacks — but her challenges are no match for her perseverance. She studies when her children study in the evening, while on vacation, even at a Cub Scout meeting, and her kids think it’s exciting that mommy has more homework than they do. Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security

He has covered international economic summits, United Nations meetings and the Republican and Democratic National Conventions. In his spare time, he is earning a second degree at AMU. Russell Raffay, a high school history teacher, believes in lifelong learning. Russ is currently preparing for a transition into education administration. He also serves as school board president for his own community – another example of his commitment to education. Raffay and his wife, Marie, are the parents of four young children. Britt deCormier, Graduate

Master of Science in Space Studies

Space operations had been an interest of Brit’s since his childhood in Satellite Beach, Fla. He separated from the Air Force after serving four years, then earned a position controlling satellites as a flight operations specialist.
