Upcoming Virtual Career Fairs

Our Virtual Career Fairs are all-day events which run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET. You can attend the VCF any time during that window, but give yourself enough time to take full advantage of the service.

Preparation Guide

Why Attend a Virtual Career Fair Prep Clinic?
Prep clinics are designed to share information which is specific to each particular event. Career coaching staff will be providing tips that are key to success based on the industry. Topics may include guidance for preparing, what is expected of you, what to expect of employers, and how to make meaningful connections with recruiters. Attendees will also receive an instructional video demonstrating the technical components of the VCF. Come ready to learn, explore, and ask questions!

Do Your Research
Before the career fair date, you can access a list of all the employers scheduled to be in attendance. We recommend you do your homework – research attending employers and make a list of the questions you want to ask recruiters.

Fully Complete Your CareerLink Profile
Your CareerLink profile is important because it tells potential employers about you. Be sure to complete it fully and accurately. Also, check your privacy preferences and be sure you opt in to make your resume visible to employers. This is how your qualifications are matched to job postings.

Get Personalized Help
Career Services has a staff of highly trained career coaches prepared to give you the personalized guidance you need for this event. You can request a complimentary one-hour virtual session with a career coach. Using a secured screen-sharing system, coaches can walk you through how to research employers, will look over your resume and your introduction statement, or help you with any other career fair related topic.

Update Your Resume
Email with a copy of the resume you intend to use for the career fair, and a career coach will be in contact to share feedback within 5-7 business days.
