Welcome to the School of Health Sciences

The School of Health Sciences is dedicated to preparing our students for industries relative to careers in healthcare, nursing, exercise and fitness, and overall public health. Our engaging, interactive learning environment blends theory, research, and practical application to give our students a competitive advantage when they enter the workplace. Because our faculty are practitioners and experts in their subjects, they can tap in to the real-world resources students need to stay current and relevant in a rapidly changing industry.

Virtual Career Fair Prep Clinics - Feb. 7 & Feb. 8
Employers from public safety, non-profit and private organizations, and local municipalities will be seeking candidates interested in public safety and health careers at our next Virtual Career Fair (VCF). A prep clinic can help prepare you to make meaningful connections with recruiters during the VCF. Attend a clinic on either Tue, Feb. 7 or Wed., Feb. 8, from 2 to 3 p.m. No need to register. Simply enter our Adobe Connect room at the start of the clinic.

The university is seeking comments from the public about the institution’s Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs in advance of an evaluation visit from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
