Learn About Gregory

BS in Fire Science Management | School of Security & Global Studies

When Gregory was 5, his dad, a Marine on active duty, died when a gunshot wound shattered his heart. Gregory decided then that he wanted to mend hearts and a passion to save people was born.

He became a firefighter and paramedic and served in the Air Force before opting to earn his bachelor’s degree in fire science management.

Gregory quickly realized that AMU was going to respect, understand, and appreciate his need and desire to obtain his degree while he was serving.

How He Did it

High School

Gregory dropped out, took on two jobs, and volunteered as a firefighter, eventually attaining his GED.

Getting Started

He discovered AMU online and felt an instinctive connection.

Flexibility

Gregory received 43 credit hours for his firefighter certification.
I ALWAYS recommend AMU to friends and family, military or not, because the ease of interfacing with the educational content in my view is second to none. Also, books for associate and bachelor’s study come at no cost, so that can’t be beat!
