The LGBTQ+ Students and Friends chapter promotes awareness, education, and diversity among the university's community members. LGBT+ Students and Friends supports those of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender sexual orientation, helping members to meet the social, cultural, health, and political advocacy needs to become community models of the future.

Benefits include:

Working together to create a safe place that facilitates dialogue, builds community, and works towards gaining visibility through active leadership, pride, and campus involvement.

The Office of Student and Alumni Affairs is always looking for people to get involved and be campus leaders, including chapter officers, who lead student organizations like this one. Membership is available year-round to students and alumni in good academic standing in all degree fields at the university.
