There are no required textbooks for this course. All readings are from the Internet sources listed or from those selected by the student with consent from the instructor. Each student will provide a list of readings to support his/her research. Your selected texts may be read in their entirety or broken down into specific pages/chapters of interest, as approved by the instructor. The reason for this method is that the most current information must be used, especially given ongoing changes in NASA and other organizations. Once you have compiled your book lists and have submitted it for approval, the instructor will provide you with additional reading assignments, if needed, which can be downloaded directly from the Internet (NASA homepage, etc.), to help support your efforts. The knowledge of your selected readings will be reflected in your understanding of the material presented in your research paper, as well as knowledge displayed in the Forum discussions.
