This course is an examination of individual dimensions of global executive leadership, organizational behavior, inter-group relations, and strategies for internal corporate communication. Course topics include management and global trade, individual aspects of operating successfully in the global environment, the executive's role in solving conflicts and creating corporations in the world marketplace, cultural aspects of international operations management and international ethical corporate strategies

After successfully completing this course, you will be able to

LO1: Assess the political, economic, legal, and technological elements of an environment – whether domestically or internationally.

LO2: Examine the role and function of culture in terms of cross-cultural communication, decision making, and negotiations.

LO3: Compare and Contrast various strategies used to build and form global alliances, organizational structures, and control systems.

LO4: Assess approaches used by Global Human Resource Managers and Organizations to staff, training, develop, motivate and lead employees in the workplace of the 21st century.

LO5: Analyze the role of cross cultural management.

Grading for the course will be based on the following:
