1. Describe the convention and meetings industry including cultural influences on planning.

2. Appraise factors and developments likely to affect the nature and pace of globalization in travel and tourism.

3. Analyze tourism’s economic impact in generating demand and travel demand determinants.

4. Demonstrate influence of tourism policy on competitiveness and sustainability of a tourist destination.

5. Evaluate destination management and marketing practices.
