American Military University (AMU) offers ongoing webinars as part of its Law Enforcement Webinar Series. These webinars are delivered at no cost and are only available to law enforcement personnel*. A certificate of attendance will be issued to attendees who participate in the entire webinar. Certificates will be emailed to attendees 5-7 days after the end of the webinar. You may attend multiple webinars, but please be sure to register separately for each one by clicking the link following the webinar description.

December Webinar: How Out-of-the-Box Education Agreements Benefit Law Enforcement

Join us for this 45-minute webinar that will show a new approach to law enforcement professionals who wish to obtain their degrees. We will explain new methods of transfer credit evaluations and educational partnership agreements that allow maximum transfer credit into a 4-year online program. In some cases, maximum transfer credits of 90 can be awarded.

About the Instructor
Instructor: James Deater
James Deater is a 28-year veteran of the Maryland State Police, 20 of which he spent in the Homeland Security and Intelligence Bureau. He investigated large-scale national and international drug trafficking organizations, homicides and gangs. Deater has authored well over 100 wiretaps, co-authored an additional 35, and has been assigned as case manager on more than 20 additional cases where wiretaps were utilized. He has been deputized by the FBI, DEA, H.S.I, U.S. Customs (ICE) and the U.S. Marshals Service. He also regularly testifies as an expert witness in the fields of electronic surveillance, wiretaps and cell phone/smart phone counter-measures in State and Federal court systems.
