- Each Reservist branch has a slightly different process for TA
- The Air Force Reserve has a special option in addition to traditional Tuition assistance called the Air Force Reserve Deferred Payment Option
- However, the first 4 steps are the same as the process outlined earlier. Print that page for reference:
- Apply and get accepted to our university
- Complete the orientation and print orientation certificate
- Register for classes
- Meet with your ESO (Education Service Officer)
- Consult your Reservist portals for the forms and information you need to complete the remaining steps
- Fax or e-mail a scanned copy of your approved, completed TA form

- E-mail to ta@apus.edu
- If the Ed Center faxes the paperwork for you, please confirm that it has been completed
- Do not send the Application for Tuition Assistance; this is not the approved form
