Grad Plus Loans

Summary

• This program is a federal student loan program for graduate students available only after all other Federal Student Aid has been exhausted. At APUS, the Stafford program fully covers the cost of our tuition
• You may borrow up to the cost of education less federal aid already awarded
• The interest rate on this loan is fixed at 7.9%. You, the borrower, pay all interest
• You must meet the general eligibility requirements of Federal Student Aid, though you need not demonstrate financial need
• You must also undergo a credit check for eligibility
• Repayment begins on the date of the last disbursement of the loan
• Loans may take from 10 to 25 years for repayment with interest accruing during the repayment period. In addition, interest will be paid during in-school and grace periods
