R.E.A.D. Book Club

 

The R.E.A.D Book Club (Reading and Educating At a Distance) provides an open forum for discussion of literature. The organization aims to unite the student and alumni body through reading and foster community through the discussion of various literary topics. This organization will also collaborate with the Room to Read national organization to sponsor service events that support literacy and education for youth.

Membership & Fees

Benefits include: Participate in in-depth discussions and assimilation of different viewpoints all contributing to increasing your knowledge and appreciation of literature.

Membership fee: $0

Note: Membership is available to students and alumni in good academic standing.

Chapter Standing

R.E.A.D Book Club has achieved GOLD standing, per the university's Chapter Standards program. Gold standing demonstrates the highest level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.

To access The Quad, login to the ecampus. The Quad link is located on the lower right-hand side of the page, under the Student Services quick links. The R.E.A.D. Book Club page can be found under the Connect tab, in Clubs.

Eligibility

Membership is available year-round to students and alumni in good academic standing in all degree fields at the university. If you are interested in actively participating in the R.E.A.D. Book Club, access the application on the organization’s group page in The Quad.
