Marty joined the AMU military outreach team in July 2007. His background includes a bachelor's in justice studies from Arizona State University, and a master's from Grand Canyon University.

He is a proud veteran of the Marine Corps and his current work involves serving in the military, public safety, and homeland security sectors for AMU outreach efforts.

Marty resides in Gilbert, AZ, and is currently working towards another master's degree with Sports Management at AMU.
