Originally hailing from the Jersey Shore, Craig graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Administration. He served in the Marine Corps as an Infantry Officer for approximately five years. After his military service, Craig earned his Master of Arts in International Relations at Old Dominion University (ODU). Craig relocated to Tokyo, Japan teaching English as a foreign language and studying Japanese and Judo.
Craig's newfound passion for teaching inspired him to return to ODU where he earned his Master of Science in Secondary Education. Craig taught high school social studies at an international school in Seoul, Korea for three years before returning to Virginia Beach to teach in the city’s nationally ranked public school system.
Craig joined AMU in 2008 and held a variety of outreach positions. Craig is also a university instructor, teaching COLL100, Foundations of Online Learning, which is vital to preparing students for entering the online learning environment. Craig is passionate about helping students achieve their educational objectives, traveling, and enjoying the great outdoors.
