Our University offers its Master of Science in Sports Management entirely online. This dynamic online degree program is designed for those interested in sports management, coaching and athletic administration. Whether on the road or at home, students can expand upon their knowledge of the competitive and global sports industry while earning a quality master’s degree.
Sports management combines academic theory with real-world knowledge and is taught by expert practitioners. Many are leaders in sports management and they represent a broad array of industry experience. The University’s experienced sports industry advisory council ensures that students learn the latest strategies in practice today. The curriculum explores the impact of sports on historical and modern society. Students learn industry fundamentals as they pertain to sports law, marketing, promotion, public relations, finance, and economics. Students also have the flexibility to focus on a specific area of interest.
Concentrations include sports administration for the aspiring collegiate, community, or high school athletic official; coaching theory and strategy for those interested in leading sports teams; and a general concentration for those interested in business and front-office operations. The University has incorporated ASEP accreditations into various programs within the Sports Management and Sports & Health Sciences programs. Students can earn ASEP certifications by completing specified courses at our University without having to complete an entire degree program.
