Our emergency and disaster management community is tightknit, engaging, and highly supportive. Many students are actively involved with industry associations including the International Association of Emergency Managers, Masters of Disaster, Golden Key International Honour Society, and more. Students collaborate and stay connected as they continue to prepare to make a positive difference in the event of a new disaster.
The University works closely with industry advisory councils to ensure that students are exposed to the latest techniques and strategies based on information that’s coming in from actual missions.
