One of the greatest strengths of our university system is the passion and enthusiasm of our students and graduates. As a result, nearly half of our students become aware of the university through the referral of a friend or colleague.
These passionate, outstanding supporters of American Military University are our University Ambassadors. The University Ambassador Program was formed in 2008, and its members exemplify the qualities of leadership, scholarship, and commitment to the mission of our university system. These students and graduates have been recognized in professional and social circles and recommended by our APUS community.
Our ambassadors are among the first to hear university news, share input with university leadership, access networking and professional development opportunities, and receive special school spirit items. If you are interested in becoming a University Ambassador, please don’t hesitate to contact me for further information.

New ambassadors are invited into the program quarterly. If you are interested in joining, please follow these two steps:
An Ambassador exemplifies the qualities of leadership, scholarship, and commitment to the university’s mission. From sharing unique stories and perspectives with potential students, to interacting with the university community at networking events, Ambassadors are eager to spread the word about their experience at AMU.
"Being an Ambassador allows me to give back to the university. It gives me a chance to interact with the university even after my graduation."
"Being an Ambassador welcomes constant moments of engaging in leadership, scholarship, and fellowship with generations of students equipped with ideas and global solutions. I am renewed with each engagement."
"Personally, I like to pay it forward. I believe in helping people out and seeing other people succeed. I think that's what the Ambassador Program is all about."
