Online Graduate Certificate in Air Warfare
The Certificate in Air Warfare is designed for students interested in the advent of air power on the conduct of war and its role in revolutionizing the battlefield by expanding the scale and scope of conflict from two to three dimensions. Students explore such topics as the evolving role of fighter and bomber aircraft to include doctrine, weaponry, and airframe capabilities through actual combat examples using various air forces in several wars and conflicts. Special emphasis includes the technology that influences current strategic concepts and aerial combat doctrine. In addition, conventional and unconventional air warfare is examined in light of technological change and the information age, non-state military threats, rogue regimes, and clashes of culture between regions.
