Meet Dwayne, Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security

He has covered international economic summits, United Nations meetings and the Republican and Democratic National Conventions. In his spare time, he is earning a second degree at AMU. Dwayne attributes much of his drive to his parents and grandparents, and he is proud to be the first in his family to pursue a college degree.

Dr. Steven J. Greer
Professor of Counter Terrorism and Military Studies
Ph.D.: Capella University
 
Dr. Steven J. GreerDr. Steven J. Greer is a professor of counterterrorism and military studies and serves on the Center for Security Policy Military Committee in Washington, D.C. He is a former special assistant to the Office of the Secretary of Defense and served as the only retired non-commissioned officer on the OSD Military Analyst Group. In addition, Steven served as a senior fellow at the National Defense Council Foundation conducting research on terrorism and briefed members of Congress on detainee policy issues.

Steven often acts as a subject matter expert in television and radio interviews including Fox, O’Reilly Factor, CNN and MSNBC. Dr. Greer has lectured on the war on terrorism at major universities, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and on Capitol Hill. With his 20 year military career and several years experience in intelligence, Steven Greer received his Ph.D. in 2008, focusing his research on experiential learning theory and its capacity to teach irregular warfare through a virtual environment.
