Defense Acquisition University & American Military University Education Partnership

Students enrolled at the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) seek professional development training, leading them to acquisition certification under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). DAWIA requirements for business experience or business education can be met by completion of several AMU degrees and certificate programs.

Multiple courses from a variety of DAU disciplines may now be eligible for transfer credit towards a Bachelor of Arts or a Master of Arts degree at AMU in the fields of Transportation and Logistics Management, Business Administration and Management. Students who seek any other AMU degree may also request to have the transfer credit applied to their degree requirements. Shorter certificate programs are also available.
