US Air Force Institute of Technology & American Military University Partnership

The US Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) and American Military University (AMU) have established a partnership for transfer credit, enabling AFIT students to apply their certificates and courses towards accredited online degrees at AMU.

  • Courses from the AFIT School of Systems and Technology will be accepted for transfer credit into AMU’s bachelor’s degree in Transportation and Logistics Management
  • Courses from the AFIT Graduate Certificate will be accepted for transfer credit into AMU’s master’s degree in Transportation and Logistics Management

AMU is committed to helping students gain access to affordable, quality online education. Our online degrees in Transportation and Logistics Management increase AFIT’s ability to meet the needs of its own students regardless of their billet or physical location in CONUS or OCONUS.

These AFIT courses may be applied to the AMU bachelor’s degree in Transportation and Logistics Management, each receiving an omnibus credit toward the degree:

  • LOG199 - Introduction to Logistics
  • LOG262 - Applied Maintenance Management Concepts
  • LOG299 - Combat Logistics 

These AFIT courses may be applied to the AMU master’s degree in Transportation and Logistics Management, each receiving an OMNIX99 omnibus credit towards the degree, unless otherwise noted:

  • LOGM593 – Quantitative Modeling
  • STAT521 – Logistics Strategy
  • LOGM565 – Strategic Sourcing
  • LOGM567 – Lean Operations Management
  • LOGM568 – Introduction to Logistics Management (Receives credit equivalency for the AMU course: TLMT611 Global Logistics Management)
