CareerLink: The university's general job board (formerly "NACElink")

In order to provide the best career service, we provide an employment system that gives students and alumni exclusive access to positions posted by employers seeking the specialized skills of our student and alumni population. Users have the ability to search and apply for positions, register for career fairs, schedule individualized career coaching appointments, and much more. Existing users of the NACElink system can use the area below to log into CareerLink directly.

CareerLink: Student and alumni users

Once you have set up your account, you will be able to apply for open positions, set up email notices for when new positions are posted, and register for events. The system reviews your profile to recommend jobs matching your qualifications. The more complete your profile is, the better your job alerts will be. Employers are able to review your resume and contact you through the network if your resume meets the qualifications they are seeking.

For support using CareerLink, email the career services team at careerservices@apus.edu.

Get Started

The registration process can take one business day, and requires you to follow instructions sent in a verification email. Read the below instructions carefully, and contact our office with any questions.

  • Navigate to CareerLink.
  • Select the user group Student/Alumni.
  • New users: select the option to register for an account. Returning users: if you need assistance logging back in, contact the career services team.
  • Check your email account for the email-verification message.
  • Follow the directions in the email.
  • After you verify your email address, your account will be activated within one business day.
Create a Profile

Your profile is the most important piece of the registration process, as it tells potential employers about you and flags your resume when your qualifications match a job posting.

  • Fill out each section of information in its entirety, to include your most recent degree, security clearance, and job history.
  • Upload your resume, cover letters, and other documents.
  • Select your privacy preferences to indicate if you want employers to be able to search for you. You choose whether your information is visible by opting out of sharing your resume with potential employers.
Search

CareerLink is available all day, every day! Use the "Resources and Documents" section located within the system to learn how to locate career options that best fit your qualifications.

  • Search for postings by location, job function, experience required, and more.
  • Review employer profiles and job postings; select your favorites for future reference.
  • Set up search parameters to receive automatic notifications when new jobs post that meet your preferences.
Apply

Applications take only minutes using your stored resumes, cover letters, and additional documents. Select which documents to submit with your application and be ready to hear from recruiters!

  • Stay organized by viewing your application history at any time.
  • View and apply to quality postings targeted directly to your school.
  • Postings that indicate they were a one-stop job are being marketed to multiple universities, and thus the candidate pool is much larger.
Connect

Never miss an event! Join the many groups operated by the Office of Career Services to hear about hot jobs first, receive notifications for upcoming events, and connect and network with students, alumni, and employers.
