Master of Business Administration Admissions Requirements

All prospective students wishing to enroll in the MBA program at APUS must have a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.

Students who graduated from an APUS BBA program or a BBA program that is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) or the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) will pursue a degree plan that includes 9 hours of elective credit.   Students who have successfully completed the following three courses at an institution holding ACBSP or AACSB accreditation will also pursue a degree plan that includes elective credit and will be required to submit a Transfer Credit Evaluation. 

BUSN601 – Global Management

BUSN602 – Managerial Analysis

BUSN603 – Quantitative Analysis

Students who hold undergraduate degrees other than the BBA, have a BBA from a non-ACBSP or AACSB accredited program, or have not completed the courses above at an ACBSP or AACSB accredited school will pursue degree plans that contain the courses above in the place of elective credit.  These students will be required to take the courses listed above as the first three courses in their MBA program at APUS.

1.        Apply for admission by clicking here.

2.       Complete the online orientation.

3.       Contact the institution where you earned your undergraduate degree and have an official copy of your undergraduate transcript sent to us at :

4.       An Admissions Representative will be assigned to work with you, and will contact you via email or phone to assist you with the enrollment process.  Your Admissions Representative will also be reviewing documents verifying your previous education and will notify you when you have been admitted and can register for classes.
