Professional Development for Senior Managers

Undergraduate Learning Track

The undergraduate learning track in Professional Development for Senior Managers is a 3-course program of study intended for senior multi-store managers who supervise store managers or equivalent positions managing up to $10 billion in sales per year.

Program Courses

You’ll choose from a list of 17 courses designed to improve your business skills while focusing on known personal competency challenges in the areas of judgment, customer focus, execution and results, planning and improvement, influence and communication, talent development, relationships, ethics, compliance, and adaptability. Specific strategies are highlighted in the available courses. Topics include:

  • Critical thinking strategies for business decisions
  • Business writing and human relations communication
  • Employee recruitment and staffing
  • Organizational behavior and change
  • Environmental sustainability and green logistics
  • Public relations and marketing strategy
  • Consumer behavior
  • Retail merchandising and innovation
  • Retail management, strategy and operations

Admission Requirements

  • All undergraduate programs require a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED).
  • New undergraduate students may be asked to complete our College Readiness Assessment (ADMN100). If you have successfully completed 9 or more hours of college credit, you may reach out to your admission representative to inquire about waiving this requirement.
  • If you have previous college experience, you will be asked to submit your transcripts from previous schools where you earned academic credit.

Additional Costs

In addition to tuition & fees for this program, please note:

  • You will be required to take our COLL099 Classroom Success course. This is a non-credit bearing course that has no associated tuition costs, but does incur a $50 course fee.
  • You will not be able to use military tuition assistance (TA), veteran’s educational benefits, or federal student aid (FSA) to pay for learning track courses.
