MILS303 - Maneuver Warfare

This course explores the origins of modern maneuver warfare theory, teaches its fundamental tenets, and examines the ramifications on military unit tactics, training, organization, doctrine, and command philosophy. Students practice application of maneuver warfare in ground, air, and naval "Tactical Decision Games" and analyze historical conflicts from a maneuver warfare perspective. The course finishes with discussions of current maneuver warfare controversies.
(Prerequisite - HIST300/HS334 for History and Military History majors only).
