CMRJ102 - Introduction to Federal Law Enforcement Agencies

This course is an introduction to federal law enforcement agencies. Students will examine the history, organizational structures and jurisdictional responsibilities of federal agencies. Current information regarding various recruitment trends and needs for services are evaluated. Efforts by the criminal justice system to improve efficiency among these agencies and local law enforcement agencies will be evaluated. Roles of specialized positions within agencies as well as interrelationships among agencies are addressed and compared.
