
DON T. SINE received his Ph.D. in History from the University of Maryland, his M.A. from California State University, his M.B.A. from George Washington University, and his B.A. from the University of Maryland. He served thirty years of active duty in the U.S. Navy. He has taught naval, military, and U.S. History at the U. S. Naval Academy and four community colleges for thirty-five years. He has published articles and books, presented numerous papers to learned societies and professional organizations, and appeared on PBS, FOX News, and the BBC as an expert on military history. He has lectured at the Naval War College, Sanhurst and Dartmouth in England. Dr. Sine is the Vice President of Dickieson Projects. He lives with his wife, Jan, in Encinitas, California..
