
Dr.Kemp possesses a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership through the University of Phoenix,a Masters in Education from the Trenton State College now Renamed the College of New Jersey earned in Tel Aviv, Israel, and a double Bachelors in Education from Wright State University, Dayton, Oh. She is a founding member of the International Honor Society Kappy Delta Pi, Israel Chapter. Dr Kemp attended the Executive Training at JFK School of Government at Harvard University and was a Fellow of the 1999 Class of The National Hispana Leadership Institute, the only executive training institute for Hispanic women.
Dr. Kemp's professional interests are in leadership development of women and diverse groups with the focus in cultural context and communication between cultures, genders, social groups with a particular interest in cultural context within health care industries. Dr Kemp spearheaded community boards to address the difficult issues of human trafficking into the US, multicultural summits to discuss the issues in rapidly growing and changing communities in Northern Virginia, and consults with government agencies on sexual harassment and other employee related problems. A certified mediator in the Federal Workplace and Workplace Mediation she is about to complete the Virginia Supreme Court Mediation certification. Dr. Kemp has been teaching with APUS since 2004.
