Everett E Corum

Everett E. Corum is the Director of Humanities, Philosophy, and Religion Programs at American Public University System. In additional to well-honed academic administrative and leadership skills, Dr. Corum has created international connectivity programs and original interactive television (ITV) classes. He has worked with actor Matthew Broderick, created international programs with folk musicians in Tallinn, Estonia, and language students in Lille and Lyons, France and has directed several major theatrical productions. He is an expert in curriculum development, producing teacher support materials, and online interactive student activities for students at all levels.

Dr. Corum was awarded a Distance Education Certification from the University of Wisconsin (2001). He taught at the University of Missouri--Kansas City, was the Director of Distance Education at Interlochen Center for the Arts, and was Director of ARTSEDGE at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Before his appointment as department chair, he was the Director of Academic Affairs at the University of Phoenix - Maryland Campuses. He was recognized in Who’s Who in American Teachers 1996 and 2000. He has several publications, presentations and grants to his credit. Dr. Corum earned his Ph.D. in Theatre and Media Arts from the University of Kansas in 1990.
