Biography - Arthur T Coumbe

Dr. Coumbe earned his Ph.D. in history from Duke University in 1985. He has written several books and numerous articles dealing with the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 and military training and education in the U.S. Army. Dr. Coumbe currently works in the office of Economic and Manpower Analysis at the United States Military Academy, West Point N.Y. He also teaches military history and American politics at the academy. He has been married to his wife for 30 years and they currently live at Ft. Montgomery N.Y.
