Biography - Peter Mylonakos

Mr. Mylonakos, has over 20 years IT technical management and consulting experience, including managing and maintaining sophisticated network infrastructures. He has obtained an MBA with a specialization in Information Systems, a Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance and is currently a PhD student. In addition he has obtained IT industry Certifications including GCIH, QSA, CISM, MCSE. He offers extensive technical experience in major Information Technology projects as well as having conducted and managed numerous IT security implementations. He has specialized in Information Security in the Banking and Financial sector and been involved in IT security and risk assessments, and security audit implementations based on international standards and frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, HIPAA, FFIEC, PCI and ISO 27000. He has been involved in Information Security Architecture projects focusing in Data Loss Prevention mechanisms. Mr. Mylonakos has a proven record of participating and directing technical, audit and security teams to achieve their goals with the enterprise and is committed to providing integrity and excellence to the field of Information Security.
Mr. Mylonakos’s twenty-plus years of experience include positions as a Systems Analyst, Senior Network Engineer, Technical Project Manager, IT Audit and Compliance Manager and Information Security Architect spanning across the Financial, Oil, Real Estate, Entertainment, and Automotive industries.
