Biography - Yana Todorova

Dr. Yana Todorova obtained her B.S in Computer Systems Engineering at Universidad de las Americas (UDLA). She finished her MS degree in Computer Systems Engineering at UDLA as well. Thereafter, she went to study her PhD in Computer Science at Texas Tech University. Her dissertation research topic was Natural Language processing with Answer Set Programming. During her PhD studies at Texas Tech, she worked on several research projects sponsored by govermental agencies. In addition, she taught several courses at the Department of Computer Science. She currently works as Instructor at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Texas Tech University. She speaks four languages.
