Biography - Karolina Kopczynski


Greetings All,

I was born and raised in Poland. Currently, I live in Massachusetts with my husband Oscar, my two sons Oscar and Alejandro. In college I majored in Spanish, and in 1998 I spent a semester abroad in Oviedo, Spain. I also studied Greek on my own, and in the summer of 2004 I studied in Greece. After receiving my Masters Degree from the School of International Training (SIT) in Spanish and English as a Second Language, I started working at a Community Colleges and SIT teaching Spanish and English as a Second Language. I taught multiple levels of Spanish, ESL Reading, ESL Writing, and ESL Grammar courses. I currently work for a public high school teaching Spanish and ELL. I am also a Curriculum Instructional Leader (CIL). I also for work for ETS (Educational Testing Service) as a PRAXIS reader for Spanish and AP (Advanced Placement) reader for Spanish Language Exam. I earned my Doctorate Degree in Education in Educational Leadership with specialization in Curriculum and Instruction (EdD/CI) from the University of Phoenix. I have been teaching online course since 2008.

I enjoy traveling. I go to Poland, Spain and Mexico almost every summer. Although, it is arduous I always manage to escape my busy schedule and relax. I like to read a lot in different languages.
