Biography - William Butler

Bill is a seasoned IT professional with over 25 years of solid telecommunications industry experience; both civilian and military. Bill has held challenging positions in teaching, Information Assurance and Strategic C4I. Bill is currently supporting the development of methodologies to successfully plan, develop and deploy ERP systems securely into deployed environments. Bill has taught Military Officers at the Marine Corps Command and Staff College as well as hundreds of IA and cyber operations students in subjects such wireless security and secure network design priciples at 2 other Institutions. Bill is a avid Lacrosse fan (UMCP) and runs with 2 killer poodles; Diamond and Kohl. Bill's latest research interests are cloud service security, virtual reality in education and combating international cyber crime.
