Biography - Chandra D Arthur

Chandra D Arthur has 30 years of experience in industry. This experience has been in non-profit and for profit and included line and middle management roles in the areas of risk management, financial services, investments, process improvement, training development, strategic planning, budgeting, team development and management, system enhancements and department re-engineering processes. Currently she is CEO of a Consulting firm she has owned and operated for the past eight years. In her practice she consults with small to medium size businesses on process improvement, accounting systems and controls, strategic and resource planning. This is her second enterprise as she was previously an Owner/Operator of a Jackson Hewitt Tax Franchise.

Chandra holds a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration and Management (Keuka College), Paraprofessional Certificate in Accounting (PJA School) and two Masters Degrees; an MBA in Management (Eastern University) the second, an MAFM in Accounting and Financial Management (Keller Graduate School) respectively. She is currently in the final stages of completion of her Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Sciences with an emphasis on Organizational Change and Leadership from Walden University and finishing a Graduate certificate in Project Management. She also serves as an academic reviewer for AOM (Academy of Management)and for the past six years has served in the role of Peer Reviewer, Action Project Reviewer and Strategy forum facilitator for the Higher Learning Commission(AQIP) as well as an accreditation reviewer for ACICS in the specialty areas of Accounting, Business and Distance Education for New Grants and reaccreditation of existing programs. In academia she has worked as a Department Chair, developed undergraduate program curriculums in the discipline of accounting, developed and owns two courses for graduate level Research and Finance as well as chaired outcomes and assessments initiatives for the pending college application process with Middle States.
