Biography - Jennifer Familant

I have an M.S. in Management with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of Maryland University College. My B.A. is from the University of Maryland College Park and is a dual major in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I have worked in the field of human resources for the past 11 years. My experience has been with a variety of organizations including non-profit, food service, retail, and bio-technology. My roles as Director of Human Resources and Benefits Analyst have given me a broad knowledge of human resources topics such as recruitment and selection, benefits and compensation, employee relations, and training. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also like to travel, especially to the beach. I am excited to be part of the American Public University System and share my knowledge with my students.
