Floyd K Maertens

Professor Floyd K. (Buddy) Maertens, a retired Army officer, served 28 years in the Adjutant General Corps with expertise in personnel management and administration to include military recruiting. Since 2000, Professor Maertens developed and taught courses under the Marketing Certificate for Military Recruiters Program, and the RQ295 - Academic and Career Planning course. A graduate of the Armed Forces Staff College and Army War College, he holds a BA degree in English and History from North Georgia College, and an MBA in Business Administration from Western New England College. Professor Maertens is also an Education Coordinator (Southeast Region) for the American Public University System (APUS) and now lives in Columbia, SC.
