Marlene E Weaver

Marlene Weaver is currently a doctoral student at Northcentral University. She holds an MBA from Marymount University. Her undergraduate degree from Delaware Valley College in Pennsylvania was also in Business Administration. She comes to the APUS faculty with over 30 years of management and business experience with the Department of Defense (DoD). She has worked primarily in financial management and human resource management with a vast variety of seminar teaching in new financial programs and various appropriation law courses. She worked within the Navy, Air Force, and Intelligence agencies throughout her career.

Marlene is a Certified Defense Financial Manager and received her certification in September of 2001.

Marlene has two married sons and three young grandchildren. She enjoys swimming, aerobics, racquetball and biking and now resides in Charlottesville, Virginia after recently retiring from the DoD in Washington D.C. She retired with 38 years of dedicated service.
