
Jim Redick is the Emergency Management Planner for the City of Virginia Beach. A Certified Emergency Manager with the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), Jim serves on several preparedness-related committees at all levels of government including an appointment to the Virginia Governor's Secure Commonwealth Panel. He has been trained for FEMA’s Hurricane Liaison Team, serves as an instructor for the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) and his additional focus areas include collaboration, technology and critical infrastructure protection. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Management from Regent University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Old Dominion University. Jim lives in Virginia Beach with his wife and daughter.
