Biography - William P Hildreth


Paul Hildreth, MBA, MCEM

Paul Hildreth has a BS in Business Operations from DeVry University, as well as a MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Paul Hildreth is also a Certified Emergency Manager and Master Certified Emergency Manager in the State of Georgia.

Paul Hildreth is an accomplished leader with fourteen years of practical experience in Emergency Response and Crisis Management working with Schools and Businesses to specifically include work regarding researching Legislation, Executive Orders, regulations and analyzing impact on school programs. Further drafting of proposed changes, formulating and disseminating policies, exercising, evaluating, and coordinating Federal/State/Local plans and developing business strategies. His work has also included program work to effect policy.

Paul Hildreth has worked with local officials during these fourteen years to help design and review emergency management plans. Serving as an integral part of the Georgia State Defense Force for ten years, Paul's background and training are comprehensive in disaster management / operations and homeland security.

Paul Hildreth has served in many leadership roles some of which include the Cobb County Public Health Schools Pandemic Committee, Emory Adventist Hospital Patient Safety Committee, GA Department of Education Pandemic Committee, Metropolitan Mobile Strike Team Steering Committee Chairperson, and the NDMS Planning committee for Dobbins Air Base.

Paul Hildreth's years of experience have given him the opportunity to work with others, from local, state and federal agencies and he has had experience with full scale and functional exercises from many vantage points, including most recently as a Controller in the NDMS / Dobbins exercise, Kennesaw State University POD exercise, and as a controller at the UASI Tactical Interoperable Communications Full Scale Exercise in Atlanta, GA.

Currently Paul Hildreth serves as Emergency Management Coordinator / Grant Coordinator for REMS for the Fulton County School District. As a liaison, He serves in a capacity to integrate at various levels in emergency management in Georgia. Paul also works as an advisor, and professional evaluator on many assignments to help organizations better manage consequences of internal and external emergencies. Paul continually works with and advise emergency professionals with a major airport in their emergency planning, exercises and provide them with feedback to improve their planning and response efforts.

Paul Hildreth also serves as an independent consultant at times, to organizations in Emergency Management and Planning with Federal, State and local governmental agencies.

Paul Hildreth is married to his beautiful wife, Eva and both are proud parents of Chloe (7). Our family loves to travel, visiting new places is a great way for us to spend time together and help Chloe learn more about our world.
