Dr. Bohl has worked in the area of public health and clinical research for about 15 years conducting studies in women's health, cancer, injury, genetic diagnostics, infectious disease, airway disease, and biologics. In addition to serving as an Associate Professor and Lead Faculty within the Master's of Public Health Program, Dr. Bohl is also a Sr. Research Consultant and previously a Program Manager/Director for a global contract research organization. Her academic background includes a B.A. in Women's Studies, Pre-Medicine Studies from the University of California Santa Cruz, a Masters in Public Health, Epidemiology from Boston University School of Medicine, School of Public Health and a Ph.D. in Public Health, Epidemiology from Walden University. Her public health interests include vaccine preventable diseases and perceptions of vaccine safety, antibiotic resistance and industrial farming, physical activity, and recreational vehicle injuries among older adults. Dr. Bohl is certified in Public Health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
